Iveco Bus eFlexy electric minibus launch
Overview
Iveco Bus introduced its new eFlexy family of electric minibuses at the FIAA exhibition in Madrid. Developed using the Fiat Ducato technical architecture and featuring bodywork from Spanish specialist Olmedo, the range targets the M2 category with vehicles weighing under 5 tons.
The lineup consists of two models: the eFlexy City, designed for dense urban environments and capable of carrying up to 17 passengers, and the eFlexy Line, intended for interurban, shuttle, or demand-responsive services with a capacity of up to 13 passengers.
Both variants are equipped with a 205 kW electric motor and a 110 kWh battery, offering a range exceeding 300 km. The vehicles support fast charging up to 150 kW, which can charge the battery to 80% capacity in less than an hour. Additionally, the buses include Level 2 driving assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go functionality. Market deliveries are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2027.
