Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin and Jordan Brand have announced their fourth collaboration, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Amazonas’. Initially identified as the ‘Lemonade’ colorway following its appearance during the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremonies in Mexico, the design features a vibrant yellow palette and a crocodile-textured leather upper inspired by the biodiversity of the Colombian Amazon and Medellín sunsets. The sneakers include bilingual details, such as lace dubraes reading ‘JUST DO IT. SOLO HAZLO.’, and mismatched branding on the heels featuring the Nike Air logo and Balvin’s signature smiley-face lightning logo. Further details reveal that the design incorporates a caiman skin texture concept extending from the front to the rear of the sole, with the interior featuring botanical prints inspired by Amazonian flora. J Balvin stated the edition is inspired by the “strength and beauty of the yellow caiman” and reflects his pride in his Colombian heritage.
