Sutrimo found dead with foam at Jakarta clinic, police investigate
A man identified as Sutrimo was discovered unconscious with foam emitting from his mouth and nose in front of Klinik Mordent, an aesthetic clinic in Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, on 23 July 2026. He had called a relative around 06:37 WIB to report feeling ill, but when the relative arrived he was already unresponsive. Ambulance personnel took him to RS Muhammadiyah Taman Puring, where medical staff declared him dead on arrival.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya, together with Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan, continues to investigate the cause of death. Police have placed a police line around the clinic, are collecting statements from the victim’s family, ambulance driver, hospital staff and witnesses, and are seeking CCTV footage from the scene. Kombes Budi Hermanto, head of public relations for Polda Metro Jaya, said the investigation is being conducted professionally, carefully and in accordance with regulations. Sutrimo is alleged to have been the head of household (Karumga) of former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah.
