Jamiroquai South American and Mexican concert tour
British funk band Jamiroquai, led by Jay Kay, conducted performances in South and North America in September 2026. In Argentina, the group performed at the Hipódromo de San Isidro to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the song ‘Virtual Insanity’. This event marked the band’s first appearance in the country in nine years. Following this, the band performed at the Coliseo MedPlus in Bogotá, Colombia. This concert was the group’s first appearance in Colombia in approximately 16 years and featured hits such as ‘Space Cowboy’ Cowboy’, ‘Canned Heat’, and ‘Alright’. During the show, Jay Kay interacted with the audience by signing hats and receiving a Colombia national football team jersey. A notable coincidence occurred when a fan named Jamiroquay Calderón attended, sharing the same name as the musical group. The tour concluded with a performance at Arena CDMX, marking the band’s first appearance in Mexico in eight years. This final stop followed previous shows in Monterrey and Guadalajara. The setlist included classics such as ‘(Don’t) Give Hate a Chance’, ‘Little L’, ‘Cosmic Girl’, and ‘Canned Heat’. During the event, Jay Kay announced that the band will release a new album next year and expressed plans to return to Mexico as an apology for their long absence.
