In late July, Bandai Spirits announced its August Ichiban Kuji lottery series, detailing a Touhou Project line with multiple prize tiers and a separate Dragon Ball line that includes a Super-Saiyan Goku figure and a large Kintoun air-plush. The releases were slated for mid-August and would be sold through bookstores, hobby shops and online. A few days later, Taito revealed its own August prize lineup, adding six Dragon Quest items such as a King Slime plush set, clear-finish figures and themed accessories. Bandai Spirits also provided further specifics on its Dragon Ball prizes, confirming the August 4 release of the Super Saiyan Goku figure and the August 6 launch of the 55 cm Kintoun air-plush. Both companies supplied product-page details on purchase locations and timing, expanding the range of franchise-based prize collectibles available in Japan for the month. Further details emerged regarding the Bandai Spirits Touhou Project lottery, which is scheduled to launch on August 14. Priced at 700 yen per draw, the series includes prizes such as Reimu Hakurei, Remilia Scarlet, and Flandre Scarlet characters, alongside a “Hakurei Shrine Offering Box Style Piggy Bank” featuring a voice comment from Reimu. The “Last One” prize is a Marisa Kirisame plush, with a double chance campaign offering a Reimu and Marisa plush set. The Dragon Ball lineup was further clarified to include “MATCH MAKERS” figures of Gotenks and Majin Buu, as well as “World Collectable Figures” from the childhood era. As the launch dates approached, Bandai Spirits confirmed specific items for the August releases. The Dragon Ball lineup includes the “Dragon Ball Z BLOOD OF SAIYANS-Super Saiyan Son Goku-II” figure from a legendary illustration series, alongside Majin Buu plushies and the “Kinto-un Air Guremi” inflatable.
