Educational institutions in Japan have been conducting various open campus and visitation events to engage prospective students. In August, Hiramatsu Gakuen hosted an event attracting approximately 1,600 junior high school students for experiential lessons in fields such as nursing, international studies, and information processing. Additionally, Yachiyo Shoin Gakuen held a specialized open school event for its junior high school baseball club to facilitate interaction between elementary and junior high school students. Following these events, Kaetsu Ariake Junior and Senior High School scheduled a mini school tour for September 1, specifically for attendees of the 2026 Tokyo Private School Exhibition. Kyoto Nursing University also began offering individual weekday tours between 09:00 and 20:00 to accommodate students interested in detailed inquiries regarding undergraduate, graduate, and specialized nursing certification programs. In mid-September, Senshin High School held its second open school on September 19, featuring club performances and hands-on activities such as food design, science experiments, and nursing experiences. Similarly, Kyoto Kogakkan High School conducted an open campus event that included brass band and dance club performances, course explanations, and trial lessons. To enhance the visitor experience, Kyoto Kogakkan provided free karaage bento meals through its dining hall, Kogakkan Dining, and has scheduled further briefings and open campus dates for the coming months. By mid-October, Senshin High School held its third open school session, which included workshops on information design and nail care, and announced a fourth session for November 28. Kurashiki Suisho High School also announced its fourth open school event for November 8, featuring department briefings, a brass band welcome concert, and food service from visiting kitchen cars.
