Former Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) leader Jeffrey Donaldson was convicted at Newry Crown Court for 18 sexual offences, including one count of rape, involving two women between 1985 and 2008. During the trial of facts, it was found that his wife, Eleanor Donaldson, aided and abetted the offences, though she is being dealt with under a Mental Health Order due to her condition.
