Journalist Marina Bernal has released a new book, ‘Quinterianos, el legado de Jesús Quintero’, published by Sevilla Press to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the death of Spanish broadcaster Jesús Quintero. The work provides a professional and personal profile of Quintero, utilizing more than 60 testimonies, interviews, and exclusive texts from colleagues and prominent figures such as Antonio Banderas and Alejandro Sanz. The book documents Quintero’s significant impact on radio and television, his disruptive journalistic style during the Spanish Transition, and his personal interests in art, flamenco, and theater. The book, which is available in print and digital formats, was presented at the Teatro Cajasol in Seville. This 400-page volume includes 100 color photographs and explores Quintero’s meticulous approach to conducting deep, non-judgmental interviews. The title ‘Quinterianos’ is derived from the name of the final television project Quintero had planned prior to his death in 2022. The presentation event at the Teatro de la Fundación Cajasol featured musical performances and reflections on his lasting impact on the media landscape.
