Jetour has expanded its G700 off-road SUV lineup through the introduction of specialized and updated models. Initially, the company launched the GAIA G700 TopFire, a factory-customized flagship SUV available in markets such as the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. This model features the i-DM Off-Road Hybrid System, producing approximately 904 hp, and is built on a high-strength steel integrated ladder frame with enhanced chassis dimensions and water-wading capabilities. Following this, Jetour revealed the updated 2027 G700, a large off-road SUV within the Chery-developed Zongheng family. This version introduces exterior refinements, such as a new body-colored front bumper and redesigned grille. Technical upgrades include the integration of Huawei’s ADS 5 advanced driver assistance system with lidar support and an increased 59.45 kWh battery designed for extended range. In China, Jetour has officially launched the Zongheng G700 plug-in hybrid SUV (PHEV) with starting prices set at 329,900 yuan (approximately $48,500). The vehicle features a 2.0T plug-in hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive and CATL battery options offering CLTC cycles of 150 km and 260 km. A major highlight is the integration of Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5.0 intelligent driving system utilizing lidar technology. The interior is equipped with a 35.4-inch ‘Horizon’ display and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chip, alongside features such as dual 50W wireless chargers, an in-cabin refrigerator, and a Lexicon audio system. Further developments include a premium full-terrain hybrid version utilizing the GAIA (Generation All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture) platform. This model features a three-motor plug-in hybrid system producing a claimed 903 CV and 1,135 Nm of torque, enabling a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 4.6 seconds despite a weight exceeding 3,000 kg. It offers a combined range of over 1,400 km and is expected to arrive in Argentina in 2027.
