Jimmy Mohamed domestic violence allegations

French media personality and physician Jimmy Mohamed has been removed from the France Télévisions program ‘Le Mag de la Santé’ following allegations of domestic violence. The allegations, involving claims of physical and psychological violence, were brought forward by his former partner, Souailla Mohamed, via social media posts.

A judicial investigation has been opened by the Versailles judicial court and the Saint-Germain-en-Laye research brigade, though Mohamed denies the accusations. On social media, Mohamed has maintained his innocence, stating, “I have never exercised any violence, in any form, towards the mother of my children.”

Following his removal, Mohamed described the changes to the show as “quel gâchis” (what a waste) on Instagram, noting that he continues to receive messages from disappointed viewers. This shift in viewership has reportedly coincided with a decline in audience ratings for the program. Mohamed’s public reactions have drawn criticism from media figures such as Laurence Boccolini, who described his social media conduct as “ridiculous” and suggested he maintain more professional distance.

In response to the situation, France Télévisions is restructuring the presentation team for ‘Le Mag de la santé’ as it moves to France 2. Flavie Flament will host the program alone, joined by new contributors including nutritionist Diana Kadouche and sexologist Gilbert Bou Jaoudé.

Conversely, the radio station RTL has decided to maintain Mohamed on its airwaves for his morning segments, stating there is no judicial procedure preventing his continued presence. However, RTL has ended the weekly program ‘Ça va beaucoup mieux, l’hebdo’, which Mohamed co-hosted with Flament, replacing it with a program focused on purchasing power.
