Brazilian singer Jão launched his ‘Memórias Póstumas’ tour in São Paulo at Nubank Parque, marking his return to the stage after an eighteen-month hiatus. The tour supports his fifth studio album of the same name. The production features a 360-degree stage designed to bring the artist closer to the audience. The opening performance drew approximately 60,000 attendees and included theatrical elements such as a water mirror, artificial rain, and fireworks. The show was structured into five acts consisting of 25 songs and featured guest appearances by actress Isabel Teixeira, who performed monologues, and Federal Deputy Erika Hilton, who joined the stage during the song ‘Meninos e Meninas’ to honor the LGBTQIA+ community. Following the São Paulo debut, Jão announced a broader tour schedule across Brazil. Upcoming dates include Rio de Janeiro on October 31, Belo Horizonte on November 21, Recife on November 28, and Brasília on December 12. A subsequent performance is also scheduled to return to the Palmeiras Stadium in São Paulo on March 27, 2027. The tour is organized by 30e in partnership with U. F. O Produções. Jão’s recent hiatus from the spotlight was marked by personal changes, including the loss of his father and a relocation to the interior of São Paulo. The debut concert also contributed to a milestone for Nubank Parque, which has reached 19 million visitors since its 2014 inauguration.
