Joyalukkas has officially opened ‘Jewel of Joy’ in the Dubai Gold District, a 25,000-square-foot facility designed as an immersive jewellery experience centre. Intended to be the largest showroom in the Middle East, the venue houses approximately AED 300 million in stock, including gold, bridal collections, responsibly sourced diamonds, and rare gemstones. The showroom features specialized areas such as an Exclusive Designer Studio, a Premium VIP Lounge, and a ‘Royal Bangle Walk’ installation. The inauguration ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi; the Consul General of India in Dubai, Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy; the CEO of Ithra Dubai, Issam Galadhari; and the Chairman of the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group, Tawhid Abdullah. This launch marks a significant milestone for the Joyalukkas Group after nearly forty years of operations in the United Arab Emirates. Following the opening, the showroom achieved two Guinness World Records for the creation of ‘Mayura Sahasra’ (meaning ‘A Thousand Peacocks’), the world’s heaviest and largest pair of gold earrings. These handcrafted 22-karat gold jhumkas weigh a combined 16.514 kilograms and measure approximately 1.215 meters in length. The project required 5,840 hours of labor from 55 skilled artisans. The record-breaking pieces were unveiled on October 24, 2026, by the UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, and will be permanently displayed at the Jewel of Joy showroom.
