Actress Julia Stiles delivered an emotional tribute to her late ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ co-star Heath Ledger during ‘Dedication Night’ on ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Performing a contemporary routine with professional partner Ezra Sosa, Stiles danced to Frankie Valli’s ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, a song famously featured in their 1999 film. The performance concluded with an audio clip of Stiles reciting the heartfelt poem from the movie and the placement of a rose before a photograph of Ledger. In a surprise reunion, several of her former co-stars—including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Larisa Oleynik, Andrew Keegan, Gabrielle Union, and Susan May Pratt—joined her on the ballroom floor for a group embrace. Prior to the performance, Stiles sought and received permission from Michelle Williams, Ledger’s former partner and the mother of his daughter, Matilda. During rehearsals, Stiles noted that rewatching clips and listening to audio from the film brought back intense memories. She described Ledger as a kind, generous, and “authentic” presence, later adding that he was ‘magnetic’ and possessed an ability to make those around him shine. ~~She also remarked on her desire to tell him~~ While most of the ensemble reunited, actor David Krumholtz, who played Michael in the film, was absent.
