Juventus pursues Rayan Aït Nouri for January loan

Rayan Aït Nouri has experienced a period of limited playing time at Manchester City under manager Enzo Maresca. Despite contributing three assists in two appearances across national and European competitions, the Algerian international has not featured in any Premier League matches for five matchdays. This lack of regular minutes is attributed to tactical shifts, as the manager reportedly views the player more as a winger than a left-back.

Following this impasse, Juventus has renewed interest in the 25-year-old. The Italian club is exploring a potential January loan move to provide defensive cover and competition for manager Luciano Spalletti. Recent reports indicate that Aït Nouri has recorded only 105 minutes of play this season across the Champions League and Carabao Cup.

Juventus is currently in discussions with the player’s entourage to gauge his willingness to move during the winter transfer window, a necessary step before formal negotiations with Manchester City can begin. To manage financial resources effectively, the club is prioritizing a loan structure that potentially includes an option to purchase, with a final decision on a permanent transfer deferred until the summer.
