Juventus is preparing for an upcoming Serie A match against Cagliari at the Unipol Domus. Following the international break, manager Luciano Spalletti is managing squad availability due to various injuries. Initial concerns focused on winger Francisco Conceição, who was monitoring a thigh injury sustained while playing for Portugal. As the match approaches, the list of unavailable players has expanded to include Grabara, Yildiz, Locatelli, Thuram, Boga, Cabal, and Ekhator. Recent updates from the Continassa training center indicate a mixed recovery status. While Teun Koopmeiners, Edon Zhegrova, and Francisco Conceição have returned with “positive momentum,” the squad remains hampered by the absences of Locatelli and Thuram. Additionally, defender Cabal is currently being monitored for a muscle injury. As the league resumes, Juventus continues to navigate these availability issues. While several international players have returned to training, the club is now closely monitoring Kerim Alajbegovic due to muscle discomfort. Furthermore, Nico Gonzalez is expected to return to training late in the week following his participation in an international farewell match for Lionel Messi, a factor that may limit his overall preparation time. Alongside squad preparations, speculation has emerged regarding the club’s coaching future. Following comments by Antonio Conte expressing a desire to return to a high-pressure club with significant history, his name has been linked to Juventus.
