The legal dispute regarding the estate of late Turkish actor Kadir İnanır has intensified following his death on June 26, 2026. The reading of the three wills, drafted between 2015 and 2022, remains postponed at the Beykoz Courthouse until December 17, 2026, because several of the 28 legal heirs have not been officially served. Veteran actress Hülya Koçyiğit has also called for respect regarding the deceased artist’s personal wishes. Personal legal battles have also escalated. Former wife Neslihan Acar has obtained a court-ordered restraining order against Levent İnanır, alleging past domestic violence and recent threatening messages involving old photographs. Acar’s daughter, Öykü Arıca, has publicly expressed support for her mother.
