Karatay Municipality environmental initiatives and infrastructure works

Karatay Municipality has initiated the ‘Karatay Air Quality Improvement Project’ to support net-zero emission goals and reduce carbon footprints. As part of this initiative, the municipality will provide 375 free condensing combi boilers to homeowners transitioning from solid fuels to natural gas for the first time. This project follows a local air quality research report and is designed to encourage cleaner heating methods. In addition to these environmental efforts, local infrastructure improvements, such as asphalt road works, are continuing in the Karatay region to enhance transportation safety and comfort.
