The Kayseri Chamber of Commerce (KTO) underwent an election process for its organizational bodies. Ahead of the elections, KTO Chairman Ömer Gülsoy issued a message to committee members emphasizing Ahilik values, loyalty, and the importance of prioritizing the prosperity of Kayseri and the nation over personal interests. During the final hours of the election process, AK Party Kayseri Deputy and Interior Commission Member Şaban Çopuroğlu met with the business community. Noting that the chamber represents approximately 30,000 members, with 16,000 holding voting rights, Çopuroğlu stated that his objective is to facilitate the progress of tradespeople by conveying their needs to authorities and to strengthen the city’s role in production, trade, and export, regardless of the election results. Following the conclusion of the board elections, Ömer Gülsoy was re-elected as Chairman of the KTO. Running under the ‘Red List’, Gülsoy secured re-election with significant member support. He issued a message of thanks, emphasizing a commitment to unity and democratic maturity. Gülsoy noted that the elections concluded with “respect and gentlemanly conduct,” stating that the focus will now shift toward a new era centered on production and trade for the Kayseri business community. Following the election, the KTO leadership officially received their election certificates from the Kocasinan 1st District Election Board during a ceremony at the Kayseri Courthouse Conference Hall. Re-elected Board President Ömer Gülsoy, alongside Assembly President Cengiz Hakan Arslan and various committee members, accepted the documents. Gülsoy described the certificates as a symbol of the “collective will and trust” placed in them by the city’s merchants, industrialists, and tradespeople, reaffirming a commitment to inclusive leadership.
