Kei Nishikori retirement at US Open

Former world number four Kei Nishikori concluded his Grand Slam career at the US Open after losing in the final round of qualifying. The 36-year-old Japanese player, who entered the tournament via a wild card, was defeated by Rei Sakamoto with scores of 6-4, 7-6 (3) or 4-6, 6-7.
