Keçiören Municipality public programs

Overview

The Keçiören Municipality in Ankara organized a series of public events in early August 2026. On 2 August, in partnership with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, it held a family‑communication seminar led by sociologist Ecem Yıldız Bal, focusing on effective dialogue, empathy and conflict resolution within families. The festival gathered Turkish‑world mayors, parliamentarians, party leaders, foreign ambassadors, civil‑society groups and thousands of citizens to celebrate shared cultural heritage, with Mayor Mesut Özarslan praising President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s support for Turkish communities worldwide.
