The Kelowna RCMP is investigating a motor vehicle incident involving an Uber driver and two pedestrians that took place in downtown Kelowna on the night of Saturday, August 22. Footage shared by driver Benton Calder shows a woman chasing and punching his Tesla before falling, and a man kicking the car and grabbing the passenger-side door, which resulted in him being pulled several yards down Water Street. Cpl. Steven Lang stated that investigators are reviewing witness statements and video recordings to determine the full circumstances of the interaction. Police have noted that the available footage lacks audio and may not represent the entire event.
