Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. (KDP) has announced several corporate developments regarding its leadership engagement and asset restructuring. In late August 2026, the company announced that CEO Tim Cofer and CFO Anthony DiSilvestro would participate in a fireside chat at the Barclays Global Consumer Staples Conference scheduled for September 10, 2026. Following this, KDP has entered into an agreement to sell its entire equity stake in Chobani back to the company for $800 million, alongside the sale of its Allentown, Pennsylvania, manufacturing facility and warehouse for approximately $125 million. The total pre-tax proceeds from these transactions are expected to reach $925 million. KDP intends to use these funds to reduce debt as it prepares its Beverage Co. and Global Coffee Co. businesses for long-term success. Under the terms of the deal, Chobani will acquire the Allentown facility, including its lease, equipment, and operations. To ensure operational continuity, Chobani plans to offer employment opportunities to the site’s existing manufacturing and warehouse staff. Additionally, Chobani will continue to manufacture certain products for KDP at the Allentown facility for a defined period under a co-manufacturing agreement. Despite the divestment, the two companies are expanding their commercial relationship. KDP will continue to distribute Chobani-owned products, such as La Colombe ready-to-drink lattes, through its direct store delivery network, while maintaining existing agreements for the licensing and distribution of La Colombe-branded K-Cup pods. The transactions are expected to close in the third quarter of 2026. 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
