The global rollout of the second-generation Kia Seltos continues to expand, with recent launches in China, Vietnam, and Slovenia. In China, the new generation features increased dimensions, including a 2,690mm wheelbase to improve passenger space. The model includes a redesigned exterior with a larger vertical-pattern grille and Star-Map LED headlights. The cabin features a 27-inch ultra-thin horizontal display that supports 12 built-in games via touch or Bluetooth controllers. Engine options include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine with an IVT transmission and a 1.5-litre turbo engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In Vietnam, the 2027 model emphasizes improved interior space, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and enhanced cargo capacity, which can reach 1,454 litres with rear seats folded. European expansion has reached Slovenia, where the Seltos is positioned between the XCeed and the Sportage. The Slovenian model features a 2.69-meter wheelbase and a 536-litre trunk. Initial availability focuses on a 1.6-liter T-GDI turbo petrol engine paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. ~~Hybrid versions, including all-wheel-drive options, are expected late this year or early next year.~~ Kia is further expanding its European lineup ~~by rolling out~~ with hybrid variants. These models also feature Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing the vehicle to act as an external power source via a 230V outlet. In Spain, gasoline model prices start at approximately 26,770 euros, while in Slovenia, they start at roughly 26,500 euros. Hybrid deliveries are expected to begin in countries like Germany as early as October.
