Kia announced an updated XCeed model aimed at European buyers, highlighting its production in Slovakia and the addition of a 48‑volt mild‑hybrid system to the smallest 1.0‑liter engine while retaining conventional ICE options. A week later Kia launched the refreshed XCeed in Slovenia, providing detailed specifications: a compact‑crossover size, two 12.3‑inch digital displays, and a suite of driver‑assist features. Powertrain choices include a 1.0‑liter 115 hp manual, a mild‑hybrid variant, and a 1.6‑liter engine offered in 150 hp or 180 hp, all paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission. Pricing starts at €23,849, with the 150‑hp version expected to be the best‑selling configuration. In August 2026 Kia introduced a further update, adding a redesigned front and rear, a new dashboard, upgraded upholstery, a two‑spoke steering wheel and a new gear selector. The infotainment system now features a digital instrument cluster and a 12.3‑inch central touchscreen with Kia Connect, the Kia App, Digital Key 2.0 and wireless phone charging. Safety equipment was expanded to include road‑driving assistant, blind‑spot monitoring, rear‑cross‑traffic collision prevention, advanced automatic emergency braking, a driver‑monitoring camera and parking‑assist aids. Mechanical refinements cover rear‑suspension tuning, improved noise‑vibration isolation and recalibrated Normal and Sport driving modes. The engine lineup remains gasoline‑only, with the 1.0 T‑GDI 115 hp offered with a six‑speed manual or a seven‑speed DCT mild‑hybrid, and the 1.6 T‑GDI in 150 hp or 180 hp automatic versions. The entry‑level Drive trim with the 115 hp manual is priced from €19,860.
