Kindergarten infrastructure expansion in Spoltore
Overview
The municipality of Spoltore is expanding its educational infrastructure through the inauguration of new kindergarten facilities funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and Next Generation EU programs.
On September 10, the municipality inaugurated new classrooms at the Villa Raspa kindergarten on Via Basilea. This specific project involved an investment of 1,150,967.99 euros, which aims to increase local childcare capacity by 70 new places. The facility was constructed to meet strict environmental and energy efficiency standards, including the ‘Do No Significant Harm’ (DNSH) principle and Nearly Zero-Energy Building (NZEB) requirements. Mayor Chiara Trulli characterized the new structure as a “modern, sustainable achievement for the community.”
A second inauguration is scheduled for September 14 at the site of the former Mammuth building in central Spoltore, which is part of a broader urban regeneration initiative.
