Warhorse Studios and Embracer Group have provided timelines for the next installment in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series. During ChinaJoy 2026, Warhorse Studios indicated a planned release within the company’s 2027–2028 fiscal year, noting that most staff are now dedicated to the sequel. The studio emphasized a continued focus on historical realism and a medieval experience. Embracer Group later confirmed in a financial report that the new title is expected to be released before the end of the 2028 fiscal year, which concludes on March 31, 2028. While the project has not been officially titled Kingdom Come: Deliverance III, it is expected to arrive within approximately 19 months. In addition to the Kingdom Come project, Warhorse Studios confirmed it is simultaneously developing an open-world RPG set in Middle-earth. In its Q1 financial report, Embracer Group reaffirmed that the Kingdom Come franchise entry is a key upcoming release for the 2027/28 fiscal year, though the Middle-earth project was not specifically slated for that window. In its first-quarter interim report for the 2026/27 fiscal year, Embracer Group further detailed its release schedule, placing the new Kingdom Come title alongside other major intellectual properties such as Tomb Raider: Catalyst and Darksiders 4 within the 2027/28 fiscal window. The report also noted strong financial performance, with net sales increasing 24 percent year-over-year to 3.943 billion Swedish kronor.
