Following its late‑June supply of After supplying high‑performance gaming SSDs for the Aichi‑Nagoya Asian Games, Games in late June, Kioxia accelerated its AI‑focused storage roadmap. In early August Kioxia Europe GmbH announced the GP1 Series PCIe 6.0 NVMe SSDs for AI, HPC and analytics, offering up to 10 million random‑read IOPS, up to 50 DWPD endurance, and both air‑ and liquid‑cooled variants in E3.S and E1.S form factors. The same event introduced the XL1 memory‑expansion module, pairing XL‑FLASH Generation 2 with a CXL interface to provide a storage‑class memory tier between DRAM and NAND.
