During its Press Start showcase, Konami Digital Entertainment announced several new gaming titles. ‘Rhapsody in Scarlet’ is an action-adventure game set in 1920s New York. The story follows Ellie Myers, a mage and aspiring jazz singer caught in a supernatural conspiracy involving a mysterious mafia organization. The title features combo-based combat integrating magic and mystical beast abilities, with plans for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Konami also revealed ‘Rev. NOiR’, an original RPG scheduled for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Set in a world threatened by a phenomenon called ‘Lightfall’, the game follows characters Asch and Finé and features a strategic action combat system. Additionally, the company showcased ‘Project Zircon’, a strategic deck-building roguelike for PC where players guide a nation through a crisis caused by the ‘Calamity Dragon of the Abyss’. Steam wishlisting has ~~now~~ opened for ~~‘Project Zircon’,~~ the title, which features strategic and management phases where players use cards to develop their nation. ~~The game includes multiple branching endings based on player decisions.~~ To mark the ~~wishlisting~~ launch, a promotional campaign on X is running until September 30, 2026. Furthermore, the game’s official VTuber, Lune Salowa, is set to debut on September 18, which will include details regarding a ‘Project Zircon’ stage at the Tokyo Game Show. Other updates included gameplay footage for ‘WaiWai World Craft’ and news regarding ‘Silent Hill: Townfall’ and ‘Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse’, the latter of which is scheduled to launch on October 15.
