TSMC briefly evacuated workers from its wafer fab but resumed production the same day after safety checks. Tokyo Electron and other equipment firms conducted inspections before gradual resumption.

Logistics networks faced strain as convenience‑store chains closed dozens of outlets and some warehouses suffered damage. Recovery teams were deployed, alternative production sites identified and business‑continuity plans accelerated to limit the impact on national and global supply chains.
