The Valencian music group La Gossa Sorda concluded their career with a final farewell concert titled ‘L’Últim Aquelarre’ in Pego. Initial reports anticipated an attendance of 17,000 people for the event, which was scheduled to include a parade and speeches focused on justice, dignity, and land. The performance ultimately drew approximately 20,000 attendees, exceeding original estimates. The concert served as the finale to the ‘A tornallom’ reunion tour, which began in April 2026 and spanned various locations including Barcelona, Brussels, and Salou. Throughout the tour, the band performed for more than 200,000 people. The final event featured musical guests such as La Maria, Quinto, and Romantic Dimoni, and as well as members of La Raíz. The evening included dedications a tribute to founding member and guitarist Jordi Oltra. The festivities also incorporated Oltra, who passed away in 2015. Throughout the festivities, the band and attendees engaged in social and political advocacy, including expressing support for public education education, healthcare, and the Valencian language. Vocalist Josep Nadal confirmed that there are no plans for the group to continue performing following this definitive conclusion to their three-decade career.
