La isla de las tentaciones season 11 production
Overview
Mediaset España has launched the eleventh season of the reality television program ‘La isla de las tentaciones’, hosted by Sandra Barneda. Filmed in luxury villas in the Dominican Republic, the season follows five couples—Nacho and Náyades, Nando and Isa, Sergio and Paola, Rubén and Gema, and Kico and Paula—as they are separated to test their relationship stability. Notable participants include Nacho de Borbón, a model and relative of King Felipe VI.
Production elements include the use of drones for live monitoring and the introduction of single participants arriving in red capes. The season follows a twice-weekly broadcast schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Following the premiere, the program has reached its first bonfire sessions, which have triggered significant emotional outbursts and tension. Recent developments include the departure of contestants Nando and Isa following a heated exchange. The production also introduced a new couple, Miguel and Mara, where Mara is an influencer from the ninth season.
A new dynamic has been introduced involving family members traveling to the Dominican Republic to confront contestants. During a recent ceremony, Gema’s mother, Chari, confronted Rubén after footage showed him sharing “three kisses” with another participant, Nataly.
Emotional distress has continued among the female participants: Paola expressed deep disappointment regarding Sergio’s interactions with Irini, while Náyades reacted with anger toward Nacho following comments about her finances and his family background. Additionally, Mara confronted Miguel over what she perceived as “controlling behavior and perceived lack of trust.”
