Lainey Wilson personal and musical updates

Country music artist Lainey Wilson has recently focused on her personal life and new musical releases. Following her May 10 wedding to Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges in Tennessee, Wilson described her married life as ‘absolutely incredible’ and noted Hodges as a significant source of support.

Wilson has released a new single titled ‘Kinda Love It’ via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. The upbeat track, which explores the excitement of an unpredictable romance, was co-written by Wilson alongside John Mayer, Kid Harpoon, and Jon Decious. Her husband, Devlin Hodges, appears in the song’s music video.

This release follows the success of her track ‘Phone, Keys, Wallet,’ featuring John Mayer, which is currently climbing country radio charts. Wilson is also preparing to host the 60th Annual CMA Awards on November 18, marking her third time hosting the event. She holds three nominations this year for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Single of the Year for ‘Somewhere Over Laredo.’ Her recent professional projects include the Netflix documentary ‘Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool’ and a film debut in Universal’s adaptation of ‘Reminders of Him.’
