Lakmé Fashion Week 2026 in New Delhi Delhi, held in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) at the Taj Palace, featured various designer showcases and celebrity appearances. Designer Manish Malhotra returned to the event after nearly three and a half years, presenting the ‘Manish Malhotra Luxury Prêt 2026’ collection at the Taj Palace. collection. This showcase introduced Manish Malhotra Menswear Luxe Prêt and featured Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan as showstoppers. Khurrana wore an embellished black jacket with silver-toned floral embroidery, while Ali Khan wore a black couture-inspired ensemble featuring a strapless bodice and metallic floral details. The collection focused on modern silhouettes, fluid drapes, and metallic palettes. Other highlights included Amit Aggarwal’s ‘5PM Glam Reset’ collection, which featured metallic pleating and was closed by Aneet Padda. The week also showcased regional craftsmanship through ‘The Fifth Season’ from Ladakh and featured international creative exchanges, such as the FDCI X Moscow Fashion Week.
