Latin American institutions and regional governments continue to implement diverse educational, vocational, and cultural programs. Initial efforts focused on technical and digital skill development, such as math workshops in Córdoba, IT and electrical installation courses in Concordia, and 3D industrial design in Bahia. Cultural revitalization efforts included Mapuzugun language workshops in Chile, while Guatemala’s University of San Carlos opened registration for over 230 free courses. Subsequent initiatives expanded to include specialized vocational training and community events, such as vocational fairs and scholarship opportunities in Argentina, circular economy summits, audiovisual contests, and local sporting tournaments. Recent cultural preservation efforts include the XI Multinational Lutherie Workshop of the Southern Cone in Montevideo, where youth luthiers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay participate to support the Iberorquestas Juveniles Program. Recent activities have expanded to include large-scale regional fairs and festivals. In Argentina, the 48th Provincial Science, Art, Technology, and Mathematics Fair in Neuquén features 66 projects, while the Expo Posadas Ciudad Universitaria showcases over 300 academic proposals. Vocational guidance is being provided through the Modo Futuro On event in Catamarca, and student entrepreneurship is advancing in Chubut. Other regional community events include the Runkuwe 2026 festival in San Fernando, Chile, featuring music competitions, and a back-to-school fair in Tijuana, Mexico, hosted by Profeco to assist families with affordable supplies. Additionally, community gatherings in Xalapa, Mexico, have been held to celebrate National Senior Citizens Day. Cultural programming has recently expanded into the performing arts. In Chile, Sala UPLA in Valparaíso is premiering a contemporary adaptation of August Strindberg’s ‘La Señorita Julia’, while the comedy ‘Felices los tres’ is scheduled at Teatro San Ginés.
