Regional initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean continue to implement programs to advance social inclusion, gender equality, and support for people with disabilities. In Argentina, the provincial government in Chubut is training state branches to address digital violence. In Chivilcoy, the ‘Sembrando Vínculos en Comunidad’ program promotes integration for people with disabilities through circus arts. Additionally, in Guanajuato, local authorities held celebrations to recognize women’s contributions to history, honoring leaders in children’s rights, youth leadership, and education. In the Dominican Republic, the Ministry of Women conducts workshops for the Chamber of Deputies, and Conadis provides medical consultations and assistive devices. In Colombia, the ‘Decididas’ initiative in Medellín has seen over 3,900 women apply for support in economic autonomy, education, and entrepreneurship, specifically targeting caregivers and victims of gender-based violence. Other regional developments include autism training in Chile and technical aid delivery in Colombia.
