Law enforcement agencies in India have conducted operations targeting individuals linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In Jodhpur, the Rajasthan Anti-Gangster Task Force arrested two alleged sharp-shooters, Jaskaran Singh and Rajinder. The suspects were reportedly summoned from Punjab to target a businessman in the Marwar region and were wanted in connection with the murders of two businessmen. Authorities stated the duo allegedly planned to flee to Nepal following their planned crimes. In North East Delhi, the Delhi Police Special Staff arrested two suspected associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Rashid Keval gangs, identified as Mohammad Kaif and Mohammad Jassim, following an encounter in the Usmanpur area. The incident occurred after the suspects allegedly demanded extortion money outside a businessman’s residence in Bhajanpura on October 2. During the confrontation, police intercepted the individuals as they attempted to reach their homes through a forested route. The suspects reportedly opened fire on officers, prompting a retaliatory response that resulted in gunshot wounds to the suspects' legs. Two police officers were also hit by bullets during the shootout but remained unharmed due to their bulletproof jackets. Authorities recovered three pistols and a motorcycle used in the crimes. Police reports indicate that approximately 26 rounds were exchanged during the shootout in the Usmanpur Yamuna Khadar area. The suspects, also referred to as Mohammad Jaseem or Wasim, are linked to the Rashid Cablewala gang, which reportedly operates on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
