Following the death of singer Shpat Kasapi in November of the previous year, his widow, Selvije Jao, has shared tributes to his memory. Jao initially reflected on the personal loss and the impact of his absence on their son, Roeli. ~~Subsequently,~~ Nearly one year after his passing, Jao ~~oversaw~~ has released the posthumous ~~release of a new song titled~~ musical project ‘A je rahat pa mu’. The track was recorded shortly before Kasapi’s death and was originally intended for his appearance on ‘Big Brother VIP Albania 5’. Jao selected one of four demo versions provided by the singer and noted that she had delayed the release until she felt emotionally prepared to share his ‘legacy’ with the public. The completed project was delivered to Jao by producer Anton Prendi around March or April. In announcing the release via Instagram, Jao expressed gratitude to producers Artirec and Imperial B for their dedication, stating the release was intended to ensure Kasapi’s voice and memory continue to live on through his music.
