In late July 2026, Legoland announced new seasonal events at multiple parks. In the United States, LEGOLAND New York launched a summer LEGO Festival running through mid-August, adding interactive zones, exclusive food, merchandise, and live performances. By August 8, the LEGO Festival at the New York resort—running through August 16—was highlighted for its specific themed attractions. These included a LEGO Pokémon Play Zone, featuring the LEGO SMART Play system, a Trainer Center, and a large-scale LEGO Pikachu build, offering early access to LEGO Pokémon experiences. The festival also introduced a LEGO F1 Thrill Zone with a "Brick “Brick Stop Challenge" Challenge” pit stop competition and an F1 Academy Spotlight. The event includes character encounters, building activities, and themed accommodations at the LEGOLAND New York Hotel. At the same time, LEGOLAND California expanded its Halloween Brick or Treat celebration, introducing a new street with life-sized LEGO monster homes, costume characters, and an interactive light trail. A week after the initial U.S. announcements, Legoland Windsor in the United Kingdom opened its own summer LEGO Festival for families, featuring five themed zones—Thrill, Creative, Music, Play, and Chill Out—along with rides, stamp-collecting activities, a Pokémon experience, live music, and festival-style snacks. The coordinated rollouts show Legoland’s strategy of enhancing its parks worldwide with seasonal, family-focused festivals. Additionally, LEGOLAND Florida Resort launched an inaugural LEGO Festival series. Running on weekends through June 8, the event features five immersive zones: Music, Dance, Chill Out, Creative, and Gaming. The festival includes a “Play Pact” initiative, where children commit to building and playing; for every pact made, Merlin Entertainments and the LEGO Group pledge to arrange playtime experiences for underserved children and their families at a LEGOLAND Resort.
