Nine-year-old Lelio Massimo di Roccasecca, a resident of Rome, successfully climbed the 4,807-meter summit of Mont Blanc on September 4. Accompanied by his father, experienced mountaineer Valerio Massimo, the boy is reported to be the youngest person to reach the highest peak in the Alps through his own strength.
