LG UltraGear gaming monitor developments

Overview

LG has expanded its UltraGear gaming monitor lineup with a focus on high-performance display technology. Initial developments highlighted the role of high refresh rates, reaching 240Hz and beyond, and OLED displays in enhancing immersion through deep blacks and vivid color reproduction.

Subsequent releases introduced the high-end UltraGear evo GX9, a 39-inch ultrawide curved monitor featuring a 5K2K OLED panel. This model utilizes fourth-generation Primary RGB Tandem QD-OLED technology to improve brightness and text clarity. The lineup also includes more accessible options, such as the 25-inch Full HD IPS UltraGear G5, which offers a 200Hz refresh rate.
