Public libraries in Poland are preparing for the 12th edition of Library Night, scheduled for October 16. 16, 2026. The event aims to engage various age groups through literature, history, and interactive programming. In Wieluń, the Municipal and Communal Public Library will host a lecture on by Bartosz Janicki regarding the 100th anniversary of the Kalety Podzamcze–Wieluń railway line, alongside accompanied by miniature train presentations and presentations. In Warsaw, the Ksiądz Jan Twardowski Public Library in Praga-Północ will host a ‘Royal Style’ themed evening, featuring an interactive game titled ‘Secrets of the Royal Library’, art workshops, and a puppet theater performance titled ‘The Kidnapping of the Princess’. Meanwhile, in Turek, the Włodzimierz Pietrzak Municipal Public Library will celebrate its 80th anniversary with a meeting with author Agnieszka Lingas-Łoniewska, a magic show by Magik Cyprian, and a birthday game. The library will also offer free reader card registration during the festivities.
