In late July 2026, Lidl introduced a ultra‑compact portable washing machine targeted at campers and other users with very limited space. Priced under €30, the fold‑able unit washes up to 1 kg of laundry using about 9 L of water and offers a quick 5‑minute refresh cycle as well as a longer 10‑minute wash. Availability was sporadic, with the product often sold out and listed on secondary marketplaces, and buyers in Portugal received a three‑year statutory warranty.

A few days later, Lidl promoted a space‑saving vertical drying rack for small apartments in Spain, reducing its price to €22.99. The four‑level Livarno Home tower can hold the output of two washing machines, provides up to 30 m of drying line, and folds down to a few centimetres for discreet storage. The discount positioned the rack as an affordable, efficient alternative for consumers needing to dry garments without balcony space.
