Linkin Park has released the live album ‘Unshatter – Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo)’, recorded during their November 2024 performances at Allianz Parque in Brazil. The 20-track release includes classic hits such as ‘Numb’, ‘In the End’, ‘Somewhere I Belong’, ‘Faint’, and ‘What I’ve Done’, alongside newer tracks from the ‘From Zero’ era, including ‘The Emptiness Machine’ and ‘Heavy Is the Crown’. The album serves as the official soundtrack for the documentary ‘Linkin Park: Unshatter’, directed by band member Joe Hahn. Scheduled for a worldwide limited theatrical release starting September 30, 2026, the film is described as “part documentary and part music film”. It chronicles the band’s seven-year hiatus following the death of frontman Chester Bennington and their subsequent reconstruction. The documentary covers the band’s creative process from 2022 studio sessions through their 2024 comeback, utilizing archival footage, interviews, and behind-the-scenes looks. It highlights how new members Armstrong and Brittain joined through collaborative sessions rather than official auditions. The film also notes that while the group considered a new name, they ultimately decided to remain Linkin Park. It further observes the absence of former members, such as drummer Rob Bourdon and guitarist Brad Delson, from the current touring lineup. During a recent premiere event in Los Angeles, member Mike Shinoda revealed that Blink-182's Mark Hoppus participated in studio sessions for the ‘From Zero’ era, though his vocals were ultimately not included in the final recordings.
