Regional literary activities and cultural festivals have been highlighted across Tetovo, Peja, and Pristina. In Tetovo, the 30th jubilee edition of the “Ditët e Naimit” International Poetry Festival was scheduled to begin on October 15 to foster cultural cooperation and maintain the city’s identity. Additionally, the ‘Oeneum’ Writers’ Association hosted a promotion for Merita Abazi’s two new books, ‘Shqyrtime kritiko-letrare’ and ‘Lotët e mesnatës’, at the ‘Oda’ Cultural Center. In Peja, the “Peja” Literature Festival concluded on October 10, featuring authors from Kosovo, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. The event included book promotions and the presentation of the “Azem Shkreli” Literary Prize to academic Ali Aliu. Meanwhile, in Pristina, the poetry collection ‘Spiralja e frikës’ by Biser Mehmeti was released by N. B. ‘Buzuku’. Recent events have continued to focus on individual authors and new releases. English professor Hyreme Gurra celebrated her 70th birthday with the promotion of six books, including ‘Këngë Lirike-Këngë Dashurie, të Kurbetit dhe Ushtarëve’ and ‘Perla të Rralla’, which explore themes of lyrical love, migration, and Albanian cultural heritage. In Pristina, Dukagjini Bookstore hosted the promotion of Mimoza Ahmeti’s new short story collection, ‘Tregimet e Civilizimit’, which examines contemporary identity, technology, and social relationships.
