Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco have released the ‘Secrets of the Spiral’ expansion pass for Little Nightmares III. This expansion introduces two new chapters to the story of characters Low and Alone: ‘The Backstage’, set behind a carnival, and ‘The Shores’. ‘The Shores’ features a coastal environment with thick fog, flooded streets, and decaying buildings. Picking up immediately after the events of ‘The Backstage’, the expansion finds the duo arriving at a grim seaside town and a large anchored ship. The content introduces water-based mechanics, including the ability to swim, which serves as a central theme alongside new environmental puzzles. Players must navigate hazards such as sewers, rushing water, and sharp propellers. The expansion also introduces a new primary ~~threat called the ‘Leech Monster’, which protects~~ threats, including a swarm of leeches ~~within~~ protected by a ‘Leech Monster’ and a massive figure in a heavy raincoat.
