Various cultural and local festivals are being held across different regions of Italy. In late August, the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni hosted the concluding weekend of the CucuFestival, featuring performances in Mezzaselva, Roana, and Tresché Conca. Additionally, the Assaggi 2026 festival in Peveragno included a theatrical production by Compagnia Salz titled ‘Il temporale forte’, which examined the lives of a Northern Italian farming family during the historical shifts of 1943. By early September, festivities moved to the Marche region. Serrungarina hosted the 29th Festa della Pera Angelica to celebrate local agri-food products through tours and sporting events. Meanwhile, Urbino held its 71st Festa dell’Aquilone, featuring kite painting competitions themed around climate change alongside community dinners and musical entertainment. Later in September, the city of Noto is scheduled to host the ‘Notte Barocca’ festival on September 26 and 27. This edition is dedicated to Argentina, aiming to create a cultural bridge through music, dance, and gastronomy. The program includes a musical preview titled ‘Armonie di fine estate’ and main festivities featuring a concert by Pacha Kama – Anima Sudamericana, a tango performance by the ‘La Bohemien’ dance school, and a public Milonga Argentina led by Cristian Petricca.
