Originating from a traditional market known as a ‘porrat’, the festivities include a parade of humor, musical performances, and communal gatherings. Other celebrations include a five-day program in Palanques involving religious services and traditional activities, and the San Bartolomé festivities in Montoro, which combine modern entertainment like DJ sets with local traditions such as the release of ‘La Diablilla’. Diablilla’ much earlier in the season.
