ASST Ovest Milanese, specifically Legnano Hospital, has been designated as a Group A center, authorizing it to manage the full spectrum of aortic pathology, including thoracic aorta treatments and high-complexity procedures. The network is designed Under a new organizational model set to integrate with existing cardio-cerebro-vascular pathways, take effect on January 1, 2027, the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo has been designated as a ‘Group A’ center, serving as the primary reference for aortic surgery within the province of Bergamo. This designation authorizes the hospital to treat the full spectrum of aortic pathologies, including networks complex cases requiring personalized or branched endoprostheses. To qualify for strokes, heart attacks, such status, centers must meet specific clinical and cardiovascular rehabilitation. technological requirements, including a minimum of 30 interventions annually; the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital averaged approximately 84 interventions per year between 2023 and 2025.
