By August 19, 2026, organizers announced that over 6 million tickets had been sold, representing more than half of the total LA28 inventory. While the next general public sale is not scheduled until 2027, fans can currently access hospitality packages through the official provider, On Location. These include specialized offerings for Equestrian, Diving, Athletics, Beach Volleyball, and Golf, as well as a “Follow My Team” concept for basketball fans. A “verified resale network” via platforms like Ticketmaster and Sports Illustrated Tickets is also slated to launch in 2027. By August 21, 2026, organizers reported that ~~these~~ sales across the first two phases marked record-breaking demand. Standard tickets for all aquatics sports—including swimming, water polo, and diving—sold out during the second sales window. LA28 President Casey Wasserman stated that the demand serves as a “signal of global energy” ~~for~~ and a “powerful signal that the ~~event.~~ world is energized for LA28.” However, criticism has emerged regarding high ticket prices, with some sessions costing up to $5,000 plus a 24% management fee.
