Lotte Hotels & Resorts premium service expansion
Overview
Lotte Hotels & Resorts has implemented several initiatives to target international and high-end consumers in South Korea.
In mid-September 2026, the group launched the ‘LOTTE HOTEL REWARDS Exclusive Travel Pass’ for international tourists. This package includes accommodation and collectible T-money transit cards featuring traditional Korean decorative elements, such as ‘jagae’ and ‘sipjangsaeng’. The pass also provides various vouchers for Lotte affiliates, including dining, duty-free shopping, and theme park discounts.
By late September, the company reported a significant financial increase, with first-half operating profit rising by 533.1% to 57.6 billion won. This growth is attributed to a strategy of increasing the value of stays rather than room volume. Additionally, Signiel Seoul and Signiel Busan received ‘Michelin 2 Keys’ for the second consecutive year, recognizing their exceptional stay experiences.
